Quality home gym at a very affordable price. Sturdy construction and very easy to install. You can perform a wide range of excercises for a total body workout. We've had this item for around 4 years and it is used often and still is in great shape. In addition, the price is very reasonable! I highly recommend it.

My father has been using this gym for quite a while and really liked it. So I recently bought one too. It was really easy to set up and in 5 minutes I was using it. I think it works especially well for bicep tricep and shoulder work as well as chest exercises. I don't find there is quite enough tension to do legs.
All in all I really like it.

I use the altus for judo drills in my mma school and it works great. It has the exact same components as the body by jake version, but is about a forth of the price. We also use it for some twisting exercises as well as shoulder rehab and boxing drills. NO complaints on the price or the equipment. The judo drills put an extreme amount of work on these guys and we have 4 in active use and have laid about six of the bungees to rest. If you wanted to use as it's intended I would defiantly buy this one instead of the more expensive version that body Jake and Weider make. As far as the dvd goes it generic but will get you started... The handle hooks are plastic but we haven't had any break...

first off it should be said that you should have an arms lengths distance between the door and the wall, or you won't get a full range of motion, and will not be able to do all the exercises. secondly I found that it offered limited resistance. i had no problem doing 12 bicep curls; to compare I often do 20 pound bicep curls. solely a product for beginners. If they tacked on 1-2 more sets of resistance bands it would be perfect.
